The Telchac Apartments project is a residential complex located in Telchac Puerto, in the state of Yucatán, 65 kilometers northeast of Mérida city, bordering the Gulf of Mexico to the north. It has a built footprint area of 7,200 square meters and a total built area of 25,500 square meters. The complex consists of a residential tower with a density of 79 apartments, 8 independent suites, and an amenities building that includes a lounge, bar, playground, restaurant-bar, gym, spa, multipurpose room, family playroom, infinity pool, and barbecue area.
Additionally, it features a beach club, wooded areas, walkways, terraces, a sports court (paddle tennis), water park, vehicular and pedestrian access, and parking.
The main objectives for implementing the BIM methodology in this project were as follows:
- Ensure that the information generated during the project development is accurate and reliable.
- Develop strategies that enable timely decision-making in the project's design stage.
- Ensure that the design process is within budget and deadline.
