MASAYA HOSPITAL

The Humberto Alvarado Departmental Hospital was founded in 1985, and it has been in operation for 35 years. Health conditions, technological development, infrastructure, and the environment have undergone drastic changes during this time. consequently, the materials used in its construction have deteriorated, making it difficult to provide the quality care required to restore the right to comprehensive health. The TADCO-DOP consortium was hired to carry out the Replacement and Equipment Design of the Humberto Alvarado Vásquez Departmental Hospital in Masaya. The hospital will be the most complete health unit in the network of public and private establishments that will exist in the department Masaya territory, in Nicaragua.

As a part of the scope, is the application of the BIM Methodology to the project design. The fundamental goal of implementing this methodology is to ensure the efficiency of processes throughout the project's life cycle to achieve its sustainability. This is achieved through the management of timely and reliable information serving decision-making, aiming to prevent and/or reduce cost, time, and quality deviation.
